AT&T never learns!!

by Eric Bradshaw on Jun.08, 2009, under AT&T, Apple, Bitches & Gripes, Computer Hardware, Console / PC games, iPhone 3Gs

Well once again it looks like AT&T is in the process of shooting themselves in the foot when it comes to their iPhone customers.  These people are the ones most likely to buy a new iPhone and they are going to charge them $499 instead of the $299 for an upgrade.  What a slap in the face to all of the people that have supported AT&T in the past.   I seem to remember this being an issue last go around when swapping from the iPhone to the iPhone 3G.  You would think AT&T would have learned not to piss off all the Apple fanboys out there.   All I really have to say is fuck you  AT&T!!!

New Game – Age of Conan

by Eric Bradshaw on May.28, 2008, under Console / PC games

Well, I went out and bought the new Age of Conan game this weekend and played off an on while I was back in Hope Mills on vacation. I got the game thinking it would be a good World of Warcraft substitute but I haven’t really made up my mind yet. I will say that the graphics in the game are very cool and the world is absolutley huge. The only thing that has been a turn off so far has been the game play interface. They have also been having some startup MMORPG growing pains in regards to servers and client speeds being slow in gameplay / framerate. Has anyone else played Age of Conan (AOC)? If you have what have you thought about the game?

Playing WoW?

by Eric Bradshaw on Jan.02, 2008, under Console / PC games, General Web

Hi all!!  Hope everyone had a nice New Years Eve / Day.  For some reason for the past few days I have found myself drawn back to playing WoW (World of Warcraft).  I hadn’t really had the urge to play in such a long time I found it kind of strange.  I think playing that game comes in phases for me.  I play till I get it out of my system for a while, quit, and then go back a few months later when I get bored of whatever FPS or Strategy game I have been playing.  Has anyone else found this to be the case for you?  I know some people are completely addicted to this game but for some reason it gets old to me after a while.  I think maybe another reason I get drawn back in is that it is the best way to get in contact again with of some of my friends that are living here and there.  So I guess some of the drawback is the online socialization part of playing.  Oh well, was just thinking about this and figured I would post.  Back to the daily grind :-) .

BioShock is one kickass game.

by Eric Bradshaw on Sep.04, 2007, under Console / PC games

Ok I am not sure who out there has tried out BioShock yet but this game is kickass.  This game is said to be using the new version of the unreal graphics engine and you can really tell. From the look of the building models to the reflectiveness of the water this game is visually awesome.  Not to mention the game play is addictively fun as well ;) .  I just started playing it this morning before work.  It has been in my laptop bag for about 4 days now and I am now kicking myself for not getting it up and going sooner!!

This game with all its advances in graphics and such does require a pretty beefy machine to play. Take a look at these minimum and recommended requirements:

Hard disc space: 8GB free space
